Screen and Stage School
JSS Classes
Saturdays 9.45am-12.45pm
An introduction to performing for pupils currently in Year 2 – Year 6. The children learn to find their voice and confidence through drama games and activities. They develop their acting skills through role play and improvisation. The young actors will experiment with camera work as well understanding how to project a larger performance for stage. We invite some of our youngest performers to engage in an informal and friendly online assessment to determine their eligibility to be considered for our sister casting agency.
NEW TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED FOR NEXT YEAR
Our senior class takes young actors from Year 7 upwards where the children will rotate through various performance disciplines aimed towards developing their skills for camera such as: Screen Acting, Voice Work and Script Study. We will be working towards show reels and Voice Tapes to promote their individual talents as well as collaboratively creating ensemble stage work. Pupils from JSS have competed in the North London and Watford Festivals for the last 10 years and regularly winning the top prizes as group and solo performers. The training and life skills learned by our pupils have proved to be extremely valuable. There may also be opportunities for the children to engage in professional auditions for TV, Film and advertising in this highly competitive industry. We will invite interested candidates to audition for Scott Cole Management if we think they have the potential to take their skills further.
Held weekly in term time in:
